My pharmacy career began as an intern at Dora Nginza Hospital after completing my pharmacy degree at NMMU. It was during my community service that I became involved in pharmaceutical supply chain and logistics while placed in Mthatha Pharmaceutical Depot.
I joined the pharmaceutical industry as the warehouse pharmacist and worked my way up to Quality Manager. I became involved in supply chain processes such as WMS, 3PL, and cold chainmanagement. The QMS skills including RCA, RA, deviations and CAPA were acquired while working for pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.
My MPharm degree investigated compliance to GWP standards set out by local medical regulatoryauthorities by the pharmaceutical wholesalers.
