The majority of research for industrial pharmacy occurs within the MPharm (Industrial) coursework Master’s for pharmacists working within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry that wish to further their expertise and insight into the sector:

Five of the modules are coursework-based, but the final module of this program is a research treatise that students need to undertake to complete the degree. While topics for the treatise are not specified for students ahead of time, the module coordinators, in collaboration with the students, explore work-based projects.  Students are assisted with defining a topic that is pertinent to their specific career path.  Some of the areas of focus have included: Quality by Design Quality Assurance in pharmaceutical manufacturing Regulatory Affairs – the impact of changes in the regulatory landscape Industry 4.0 Pharmacy Support Personnel in pharmaceutical manufacturing The pharmaceutical supply chain
