I am an Industrial Pharmacist.  After graduating from University of Port Elizabeth in 2003 with a BPharm, and completing my internship and community service in 2003 and 2004, I worked at Fresenius Kabi Manufacturing South Africa.  I filled numerous roles in the quality assurance, validation and production departments at their sterile manufacturing facility in Port Elizabeth.  In 2015 I enrolled in the MPharm (Industrial) part time programme at the Nelson Mandela University. 

I graduated Cum Laude in 2018 and was awarded the Albert Wessels Trust Award for Best Master’s by Coursework Graduate: Science and Technology.  In June 2018 I joined the Nelson Mandela University Pharmacy Department where I now lecture pharmaceutics to the next generation of industrial pharmacists.  I am involved with the supervision of numerous Masters students on topics involving pharmaceutical manufacturing.
