Dr Sanelisiwe Nzuza is a Lecturer in Pharmacology in the Department of Pharmacy. She has a PhD in Pharmacology obtained from University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2018. Dr Nzuza’s research interest is to understand molecular roles of antiretroviral drug-induced metabolic complications and adverse birth outcomes. Her research is mainly funded by National Research Foundation.  
 
Dr Nzuza has served her URC-Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Cape Town and she is currently a member of Physiology Society of Southern Africa (PSSA).
