I completed an industrial internship and my community service year at the South African National Defence Force Sick Bay in Gqeberha. A passion for pharmaceutics led me to return to the pharmaceutical industry after my community service year.  After gaining experience in industry, I returned to my alma mater to pursue my goal of obtaining a master’s degree in pharmaceutics. During the last phase of my research, I joined the pharmacy department and since then, I have lectured in the pharmacy technician programme, the BPharm program, and co-ordinated the Master’s in industrial pharmacy course work programme.

Projects that I have been involved in includes, product optimization of various dosage forms, quality assurance, quality by design and quality management systems in pharmaceutical industry.
