
Janet Barry is a registered pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council, and a member of Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa. She has been a lecturer in the pharmacy department at Nelson Mandela University for the past 12 years, and before this worked in corporate sales for 10 years. It was here that she became interested in advanced wound care and circled back to this exciting topic in 2019 when she developed a new undergraduate elective research project with a colleague in the department. She has her undergraduate degree from University of Port Elizabeth and her Masters from Nelson Mandela University.
